Cell Phone Records, Billing Errors and Usage

Our work in the analysis of cell phone (cellular and wireless) usage, records*, location, bills, billing, invoices, practices and systems began in 2000. For these call, data and message records, bills, and invoices we have assessed accuracy and uncovered errors relating to: content, timing, duration, disposition, routing, location, charges, sender and receiver identity, coding, rating and categorization.

Although varied, most of our expert witness and consulting engagements have involved the identification, assessment and analysis of:

  • Systems, methods, practices, standards and technologies used to generate, store, and process Call Detail Records and subscriber invoices

We have been also called upon to:
  • Differentiate between incomplete and completed calls and data events
  • Determine the actual start, end, and duration times for calls and data events

  • Implement message processing call audits of usage records including call detail records and data events
  • Analyze violations of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, 47 U.S.C. § 227 ("TCPA")
