This training course is taught by Mr. Jerry A. Kaufman, president of Alexander Resources. Mr. Kaufman is a noted author, technologist, educator, product developer, consultant, patent analyst, and expert witness specializing in cellular and wireless technologies, networks, phones, standards, services, and systems. As a senior executive for major telecommunications manufacturing and consulting firms, he has been responsible for the planning, design, development, sales, and marketing of numerous next generation private and public telecommunications networks and services.

Since 1990, Jerry's professional activities and services have focused exclusively on mobile, cellular, and wireless technologies, markets, standards, spectrum, regulations, networks, and services. In these fields, he has authored numerous research reports on cellular carriers, emerging technologies, and markets. He has taught various public and private seminars on mobile, cellular, and fixed wireless technologies, networks, and services. He has also served as a plaintiff and defendant expert witness on a wide spectrum of civil and business matters/litigation involving wireless communications products and services. As a business and market consultant, he has assisted clients in developing new products, evaluating new market opportunities and developing plans to capture them. As a patent analyst, he has assisted many leading law firms and corporate clients in defending against or asserting claims of patent infringement and patent validity. This patent work has encompassed all 802.11/Wi-Fi/WLAN standards, 802.15/Bluetooth standards, 802.16/WiMAX standard and all second, third and fourth generation GSM, UMTS, and CDMA2000 cellular standards and technologies.
